Hair Growth Essential Oils

Essential Oils have been used for centuries to stimulate hair growth. The use of essential oils to heal is called aromatherapy and it is used to heal all sorts of problems and is popular in many countries especially France.

The five main hair growth essential oils used are:

Rosemary, which is a powerful scalp stimulator

Peppermint which is refreshing, energising and stimulating for the hair follicles.

Basil, which not only stimulates the scalp but promotes clearer thinking

Tea Tree Oil which is anti fungal, anti bacterial and anti viral and will help heal any ringworm or other infections of the scalp which may be contributing to hair loss.

Lavender, the star of all essential oils because of it can be used for almost anything. Apart from being relaxing and anti infective, it also helps to regenerate cells and thus helps regrowth of hair.

The way to use hair growth essential oils is to put approximately 5 drops of each into about 200mls of carrier oil in a bottle and shake. The best oils to use are coconut oil or carrot seed oil, but any oil will do.
Once mixed, warm slightly by placing container in a bowl of warm water and then massage the oil into the scalp. Make sure you massage well, using your fingertips to stimulate the scalp. Leave for as long as possible, overnight if you can, but a minimum of half an hour, and then wash.
Do this twice a week to encourage hair growth.
